Super Bowl Food

Here are a few recipes that would work well for Super Bowl Sunday. Enjoy!

Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dip - A Super Bowl must! Very spicy finger food.

Smoked Chicken - Cut up and serve on a buffet.

Alfredo Pizza - Another super bowl must. If you're not an Alfredo fan, you could also try veggie or Mexican pizza.

Beef Ribs with Homemade BBQ Sauce - A great option for people that are not fond of super-spicy chicken wings.

Spicy Chili - Who doesn't serve chili??

Cornbread - If you have chili, then you need cornbread.

Cornbread Stuffed Mushrooms - Or just serve your cornbread in mushrooms. More great finger food.

Homemade Hummus with Homemade Pita Bread - Not a traditional appetizer for the Super Bowl, but still delicious.

Spicy Roasted Chickpeas - If you want to skip the hummus, you could roast the chickpeas to make a yummy snack.

Cream Puffs - I have never seen cream puffs at a super bowl party, but why not? They are easy to make, very impressive, and perfect finger food.

Chocolate Cheese Ball - More sugar! A super bowl party needs lots of sugar.

Lemon Squares - Not only would they go perfectly with a lighter meal, but they would also make a refreshing end to a heavy, deep fried, and spicy meal.

Here are a few recipes that I found on different blogs. Even though I haven't tried these recipes, I do plan on it and I think they look delicious.

Alea @ Premeditated Leftovers

Broccoli Salad - My above posts have a serious lack of veggies. This looks delicious!

Veggie Quesadillas - More veggies!

Apple Dip - I LOVE that the dip is in an apple --- very adorable!

Casondra @ Mother of a Miracle Baby

Beef Drip - Doesn't it look heavenly? You just place everything in a slow cooker and 6 hours later you have a meal.

Here are a few more recipes. Check them out!

Kitchen Flavours
  • Teriyaki Chicken Pizza - How creative and fun! A Super bowl Party with several different types of pizza, not just plain ol' veggie or sausage pizza? Great idea!
  • Chicken Burgers with Garlic Rosemary Mayo - If you're not in the mood for deep fried, heavy food, this is the meal. Healthy chicken burgers would be great served with a veggie and fruit tray.

  • Homemade corndogs - Perfect finger food, and who doesn't love corn dogs?? I cannot wait to try this recipe!

  7. Hi Elsa, I'm just back from my Chinese New Year festivites and from all those rich food! But still "drool" after these wonderful spreads! Thank you for the mention. The teriyaki pizza and the rosemary mayo burger certainly are perfect for Super Bowl Sunday! You sure picked the right ones.
Missed your other posts! Will be back as soon as my mountain of dirty laundry "disappears", ironing, cleaning, grocery shopping, children's homework,... blah, blah, blah! ^~^
